How to use the Farkle roller
- Press Roll dice to throw all six dice.
- Tap scoring dice to hold them. The held score updates as you go.
- Roll the rest to build the turn, or stop and bank. A roll with nothing scoring is a Farkle.
The scoring this roller uses
The roller applies the common Farkle scoring chart. House rules vary at the edges, so treat the held score as the standard baseline.
| Dice held | Score |
|---|---|
| Single 1 | 100 |
| Single 5 | 50 |
| Three 1s | 1,000 |
| Three of any other face | face times 100 |
| Each extra matching die | doubles the triple |
| Run of 1 to 6 | 1,500 |
| Three pairs | 1,500 |
The bust odds behind every decision
Farkle is a push your luck game, and the pull of every decision is the chance the next roll scores nothing. That chance depends only on how many dice you throw, and it is exact.
| Dice rolled | Chance of a Farkle |
|---|---|
| 6 | 2.31% |
| 5 | 7.72% |
| 4 | 15.74% |
| 3 | 27.78% |
| 2 | 44.44% |
| 1 | 66.67% |
Six fresh dice bust barely once in 43 rolls, but two dice bust nearly half the time and a single die busts twice in three. The classic mistake is rolling one or two dice for a small score while risking everything held, and the table shows exactly why it stings.
Banking against the odds
A sound baseline: keep rolling while four or more dice remain, think hard at three, and bank at one or two unless the turn total is small. Holding all six scoring dice earns a fresh set of six, where the bust chance resets to 2.31 percent, which is why runs and three pairs are worth chasing. For the five dice cousin with three rolls a turn, see the Yahtzee roller.

Frequently asked questions
How does Farkle scoring work here
Single 1s score 100 and single 5s score 50. Three of a kind scores one hundred times the face, or 1000 for three 1s, and each extra matching die doubles that. A run of 1 to 6 or three pairs scores 1500.
How do I hold dice
Tap the scoring dice you want to keep. Held dice turn green and the held score updates. Roll the rest to keep building the turn.
What is a Farkle
A roll with no scoring dice at all. The tool flags it, since in the game a Farkle ends your turn with no points.
Does it follow every house rule
It uses common Farkle scoring. Group rules vary, so treat the score as a guide and apply your own table rules if they differ.
Is it free
Yes, free and with no sign up. Every roll runs in your browser and nothing you enter leaves your device.
