How to use the number picker
- Set the range, then press Spin the wheel and watch it land.
- Turn on sound and confetti for the reveal, and copy a share link to send the same wheel to anyone.
- Tick No repeats until reset to hold back numbers already drawn.
Why the no repeats option matters
Left to pure chance, repeat picks are common and some numbers simply never come up. Draw as many times as the range holds and, on average, over a third of the numbers are never picked at all.
| Range size | Picks made | Numbers never picked, on average |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | 10 | 3.5 |
| 20 | 20 | 7.2 |
| 30 | 30 | 10.8 |
That is fine for a one off winner and unfair for taking turns. With no repeats on, every number is drawn exactly once before any repeats, the same guarantee the remove winner feature offers on popular wheel apps, and the reset button starts the pool fresh.
Fair under the fun
The spin is theatre, the landing is not. When the wheel stops, the number is drawn from the browser cryptographic random source, so every value in the range is equally likely and no spin depends on the last. The share link encodes only the range, so a classroom or a stream audience opening it sees the same wheel with the same fair odds, spun on their own device.
One wheel, many jobs
Giveaway draws, choosing who presents first, picking a raffle number in front of an audience, or settling anything a coin cannot: set the range to the entries and spin once. For calling a whole class in random order, the wheel spinner keeps it minimal and the classroom picker tracks who has been called across a lesson.

Frequently asked questions
How does the number picker work
Set a range and press spin. The numbers cycle for a moment, then the wheel settles on one random number from your range.
Can I turn on sound and confetti
Yes. Tick sound for a short click as it spins, and leave confetti on for a small burst when the number lands. Both are optional.
Can I share the wheel
Yes. Copy share link puts a link with your range built in on the clipboard, so anyone who opens it sees the same wheel.
Is every number equally likely
Yes. The final pick uses the browser cryptographic random source, so each number in the range has the same chance.
Is it free
Yes, free and with no sign up. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you enter leaves your device.
