Deal Poker 5 hands here and, over enough draws, the frequencies converge on these numbers, which makes the generator a neat probability lab as well as a spare deck.
Single card odds
From a fresh 52 card deck, any one named card is a 1 in 52 draw, just under 2 percent. Any ace is 4 in 52, about 7.7 percent, a face card is 12 in 52, about 23 percent, and red against black is an even split. Add the jokers and every single card odds shifts to 1 in 54, which is why serious card maths always states the deck first.
Without repeats, like a real deal
Cards here are dealt from the top of a shuffled deck, so within one deck no card appears twice, exactly like a physical deal and unlike a card picked at random with replacement. The deck shuffles with Fisher Yates, giving each of the huge number of possible orders the same chance. When the deck runs out mid draw, a fresh one is shuffled automatically.
